Winter Wildlife Tracking in Belvidere

Please join Cold Hollow to Canada (CHC) for a Wildlife Tracking Event on Saturday, February 5, from 2:00-4:00pm in the woods behind Belvidere Elementary School! For this adventure, we’ll walk together through the woods and see what wildlife signs we encounter. Our leader will be Wildlife Tracker and CHC Community Science Coordinator Sophie Mazowita, who will go through some basics of wildlife tracking and discuss the behaviors and ecology of the wildlife we find. This excursion will involve some moderate walking, and we may go off trail in order to follow tracks. There will be ample opportunity for questions and conversation, so bring your curiosity!

Depending on weather, snowshoes may be encouraged. Please be prepared to be outdoors for the entire event. While free and open to the public, registration is required, and we may need to cap numbers, so register soon! Event details will be sent upon registration. All ages are welcome.
