Join Cold Hollow to Canada for a day of tracking with expert tracker and founder of Keeping Track Inc., Sue Morse. Sue has spent well over three decades researching wildlife, documenting her findings in articles and public presentations and being the subject of many publications herself. She has studied numerous animals with a specialty in black bear, cougar, bobcat, and Canada lynx.

We'll take the day to explore the woodlands in the town of Belvidere learning about animal tracks and sign. Sue will share in detail how the signs came into being and the wealth of detail they so often reveal about the animals that leave them.

Please RSVP to info@ coldhollowtocanada.org to let us know you are coming. Class size will be limited in order to provide for the best experience possible. A wait list will be held.

Please note that as a participant you will need to be prepared to be out in the field for the entire day. Appropriate clothing and food are of the utmost importance. Be ready for cold weather, with lots of layers. These walks are slow and allow time for the proper study of tracks & sign. We suggest bringing hot beverages/food to sustain you throughout the day as well as high-energy snacks. Click here for more on how to prepare for a class with Sue Morse.
