Would you like to learn more about the birds in your woods? When you find them, did you know you can easily contribute your sightings to a worldwide science project? This series introduces participants to eBird, a data collection tool available to anyone with an internet connection! Data can then be accessed by scientists looking at a full range of metrics, like where birds are located, timing of migrations, and comparisons of species across time and space. We'll start with a virtual eBird workshop by CHC's Community Science Coordinator Sophie Mazowita, followed by an on-the-ground bird walk with Bird Diva Bridget Butler, where we'll explore the habitats and behaviors of the birds in our woods. While we encourage you to sign up for both, you are welcome to attend either on its own.  Please register here.
